8/31/2024 ANNOUNCEMENT

After receiving numerous reports this week of multiple issues with our temporary vials (including severe leaking, labels peeling off during transit, and dysfunctional atomizers), we have made the difficult to decision to cancel all trinket pack orders and issue refunds for them.

INQUIRIES INTO SAMPLE EVAPORATION

If your sample is lower than the .75mL indicated, that means it has either leaked or evaporated - please feel free to reach out for a refund but we cannot issue replacements at this time.
 
 

ORDERS AS OF SATURDAY 8/31

    • If you have not received a refund for your order, it has either been shipped or you have received outreach from us with either a question about your order or a delivery date for the items that will be restocked over the weekend.
    • Please note that many packages do not get scanned until they are out for delivery due to the way that USPS now works primarily from manifests.
    • Please feel free to reach out if there are any issues but note that we are out of 5mLs and out of vials, so we can only issue refunds and not replacements at this time. For broken 5mL and 10mL atomizers, we can send out some rollerballs as long as they are available.
     

    THIS ISN'T A GOODBYE, JUST A "SEE YOU LATER"

    Mythpunk Olfactive is now closed indefinitely.
     
    There is no ETA for our return. We will have limited access to internet and email during the month of September because we are switching internet providers, but we will endeavor to respond to all emails within one business week.
     
    Here are some additional details:
    • THE WEBSITE: Depending on how long we are closed, the scent list and website may go offline at some point due to the high cost of keeping the site open. All additional services, such as reviews and the rewards program, will also be suspended. We will be taking this time to implement a new inventorying backend SaaS within Shopify that should improve operational workflows w/r/t restocks and we will also be updating the FAQ pages, since those broke during a recent Shopify update.
    • REDUCED CATALOGUE: We are currently not sure what the future of the shop will look like or what our offerings and line-up will be. Our catalogue will be significantly reduced; most things will be moving to a rotational / seasonal model.
    • PETRICHOR X: This collection will return only in a very limited capacity on a bottle-only, ready-to-ship basis, and there will be no part two this year. We will endeavor to do at least one small restock of each scent before the end of the year.
    • TRINKET PACKS: Trinket packs are arriving via sea freight, so we do not have an ETA for when they will be available again. However, in the future, when we introduce them, trinket pack orders will have a standard fill level of 1.5mL. This should help prevent confusion over fill levels and help stave off some amount of evaporation, but evaporation is inevitable with alcohol-based perfumes when they are not in a crimp-neck container, so we recommend using your trinkets within 6 months.
    • NEW BOTTLES: 5mLs are being retired and they will be replaced with 7.5mLs. This may not be until October or later, as these are also shipped via sea freight. We plan to offer 15mLs and 30mLs at a future date, but we do not have an ETA for that at the moment.

     

    We are looking forward to taking a break and making changes that allow us to focus on what we're passionate about - high-quality, small-batch fragrances for changelings & strangelings. Thank you for your time and for your support.
