Hi everyone,

In the spirit of transparency, I experienced a psychiatric event after changing ADHD medications back to what I was on last year. So, this feels like a tremor or an aftershock of last year, and I'm sorry that it has affected my ability to fulfill orders again. Thankfully we recognized the signs sooner this time, but things did still get a little rough.

I want to be transparent about my condition without being Too Much (TM). I have schizoaffective disorder with comorbid ADHD, and the ADHD medications I require to function can cause psychosis even in folks without a prior history - I made some med changes that triggered an episode (what some call a "psychotic break"). 

I'm trying to see this as a temporary setback that reaffirms the positive changes I've made and the hard work I've done to get to a better place mentally and operationally. But, even a temporary setback is disruptive to my ability to run the business and I'm sorry for that. 

It's just me in the studio right now due to holidays, so I am listing an increased TAT on the site of 20 business days, but I will endeavor to be faster - I just need the extra padding right now while I adjust to my medication changes and to having a little less help this week.

A lavender dream

I'm typically don't gravitate to herbal perfumes but this one is cozy, soft, sleep, sweet, and enveloping. It's so simple but it's so well done. It's light lavender, the signature cozy stuffkin DNA, and deliciously creamy custard. It's the ultimate sleep scent!

The rice perfume of my dreams

I love Fluffkin! It's rice, marshmallow, woods, and a tiny bit clean from the laundry/stuffkin base. If you are a ride or die gourmand fan this is probably a level 3/5 on the sweetness scale (for me level 5 sweetness is something like Bianco Latte). The combination of rice and marshmallow really do give the effect of a fancy rice crispy treat but the light woods and laundry make it wearable for those who don't love super foody perfumes. My only complaint is the fact that 6ml is the largest size!

Incredible and unique!

This perfume is pure sophistication! I do not get a purely paper vibe from this and I'm happy about that! It's so multi-layered and well done. The white florals, orris, and paper all blend together so well. It just smells refined, feminine, a little vintage. This also shows the range that Ashe has a perfumer. Mythpunk has something for everyone there are earthy perfumes, gourmands, florals, skin scents, and then there's Paper Moon that I could see being in a luxury niche line. I don't have anything like this in my collection and I will cherish the 6ml that I have coming to me soon!

Gorgeous, but like a certain pretty ex boyfriend, we don’t get along

So i appreciate this but it’s not for me. I’m a bit picky about lavender so it’s not surprising. I feel like i can sniff out all the notes except maybe the violet petals, and i love the prominence of marshmallow and how the cocoa is subtle (chocolate notes are usually a hard no for me).

Unfortunately my personal issue with this beautiful little scent is that it makes my mouth feel weird. I’m not tasting it, i swear. it’s not an allergic reaction, i get it just thinking about this scent, and it fades instantly. (this is not haunting me or anything, it’s not distressing, i just don’t vibe with it for that reason.)

If you’re a lavender person please don’t let me deter you from trying it. I think my brain is just doing mysterious things here. I loooove the rest of the scent!

Note: this scent needed 1-2 weeks (i can’t recall honestly) before it fully developed. After that I could smell the nuances.

Hushkin

This is The One.

I can’t explain this scent to people. I need to stop telling them there’s a motor oil note because they get weirded out. So did i. I received it as a gift sample in 2024 and was shocked that i was loved it. The motor oil, to me, isn’t shouting but is recognizable if you’re looking for it, or you’re around motor oil frequently this may just smell familiar for reasons you can’t figure out (so far this has happened with two of my friends when i have simply said “smell this”). it’s also clean motor oil, not “dirty mechanic shop and greasy hands” and it’s surprising that clean motor oil smells *cozy* and *good*

This was a perfume i hunted desperately during the shop’s hiatus. i had unhinged ideas about learning perfumery to attempt to recreate it.

For me it hits with a comfy scent of peanut butter, vetiver, and motor oil. I didn’t pick up that it was peanut butter until someone pointed it out; iirc in 2024 that wasn’t listed in the notes. i get no marshmallow, leather, or cedar but i know if they were gone it wouldn’t smell right. it may just be my nose but i think they’re kinda filling out the scent and harmonizing instead of being in the lead.

This is what i wear out when i want to feel empowered but soothe myself.

just a note: i got a bottle immediately after MO reopened in 2025, and it wasn’t as strong as the 2024 version. Ashe was really helpful with my questions about that and said she’s making a slight strength and aging time adjustment because she suspects the new base, which includes IPM instead of only alcohol, changed this one a bit.

I don’t find it to be an overpowering scent even at full strength, i usually wear 3 sprays. i’ve never had anyone comment on it but to me it smells very noticeable so i've got no idea what the scent bubble is like! it also lasts a long time! once, washing a shirt in cold water didn’t entirely remove the scent. oops. made me question if the shirt got clean, though it smelled fresh otherwise (and it certainly did not before washing lol) so i ran it again and it was then de-fragranced. i haven’t had that happen again but i wash everything else in warm water. If you spray a hoodie or something you don’t wash every wear, you’ll absolutely get a whiff of babygirl days or weeks later.

i should probably shut up about this one now but i have a lot of feelings about it!!

Oh, I love this one. It's not as sweet as Mossmallow Puff (it's not sweet at all) so I wouldn't be concerned about overlap if you already own Mossmallow. It's mostly paper + ink + moss and ivy on me, pulling gender neutral or low masc. The mint is there but just a cool mist in the background. The catalog picture is perfect representation of this scent, and makes me want to go hiking through the rainforest soon.

Shockingly beautiful.

Shockingly beautiful, but not because I didn't think it would be. Because my brain never would've put all forest notes together and then decide to add dollops of marshmallow and amber. Mossmallow Puff is greenest the first 2 hours and then it gently fades into a dusty, forest-y cloud of sweetness. I was huffing my arm all day yesterday, and it took so much strength to keep from telling other people to smell me too. Very cozy, very dreamy. Full-size bottle worthy.

faeriecore grunge dream

When I smell this, I envision dream fruits glowing deep orange like embers in the nighttime. The combination of fruit accords creates a deep, sweet, almost chewy fantasy fruit with just a touch of something wet and green. This is woven with a sort of hot, brick oven scent, bound with a drop of ambery, floral glue. I wore this on a hot, sticky day when the air was like soup, and it was actually lovely even though it seems like it would be more of a cool weather scent. Other reviews call it tropical, but it doesn't come across that way to me. It's like fantasy forest x industrial but more wearable than that sounds.

a delightful surprise!

This was an adventurous buy for me. I rarely enjoy florals, marshmallow notes, powdery smells, OR sugary smells. But something about this is so delightful. The sweet elements are magically pillowy. I feel like a fairie sitting on a glittery cloud. Soft and ethereal yet dark and sweet. Marshmallows on a midnight breeze. A light patchouli, politely acting as a supporting character. I'm in love!

I think about it when I’m not wearing it.

I genuinely wasn’t sure about this one when I got it. The vetiver and motor oil is so strong that I was scared off for a week or two. But I put babygirl on this week and I can’t put into words how glad I am. Once the vetiver and motor oil temper, it becomes an infinitely wearable, grounding scent. More masc than I would say low masc, but still beautiful. Smooth, rich, like borrowing someone’s leather jacket and it’s still warm from their body. And then you carry them with you throughout the day. I felt confident and anchored wearing this at a high-stress work event.

This is my new sleep scent. I got over a week’s worth from the sample, using 2-6 sprays per night. (I like to read in bed because “sleep hygiene” just means washing the sheets weekly right?) so I often respray after a couple hours. It didn’t really need it though- when i would leave the room and come back it was apparent it was still prominent.

Fluffkin doesn’t smell overly sweet to me, just the right amount. I primarily get hot dry rice (smells just like my microwaveable rice stuffed eye pillow), and the smell of fresh clean cotton with some supporting warmth and sweetness. I can’t stand scented laundry products—none of that here. Just plain clean. I find this note more subtle than real sun dried laundry, which can smell quite strong (but nice!) to me.

i think it smells of marshmallow, but i wouldn’t recognize it as a marshmallow scent without knowing, and that’s my favorite fragrance note (probably partly my nose and partly because it’s so well incorporated).

I find the sandalwood to be *very* light and quite reminiscent of Alkemia’s Arabesque. I also wouldn’t know it was there without being told. I think the woodsy note is also subtle and supporting the scent to round things out. I’ve no clue what rice flower smells like, but I don’t usually like florals and this doesn’t screech floral at me.

Anyway, to end my novel about my new obsession, this is unbelievably cozy, strong without being overwhelming (i’m sensitive to that), and i would buy a freaking quart of it if i could. i normally take forever to finish perfumes but i want my whole bedroom to smell like this forever. I would love if MO offered bigger sizes in the future, which is really saying something.

In short, I wanna put this in a squirt bottle and be set loose in my home. unsupervised and unaccountable.

Dream Sleep Scent

I am so so excited to get more Fluffkin! Way back when, Fluffkin was a freebie sample. I never would have picked it, it sounded too sweet and I’m more of an atmospheric person, but when I tried it, I was blown away. The toasted rice is so cozy with the marshmallow, there’s a woodiness that keeps things from getting too sweet. It’s woody and warm, taking a nap in the sunshine after eating something sweet. It’s what I put on when I’ve had a bad day and need to feel safe. I held on to the empty trinket bottle because just smelling it helped, so I’m so pleased to get a bottle.

Also, after reading about Cheddar and how the Stuffkin scents were thought of, it does give me the same sort of safe and away from the world feeling I’d gotten from my late soulcat, this wasn’t how she smelled, but it feels like her and that’s really special. Thanks.

Thought I recognized this…

I used to nanny and one year, the family went on a week long vacation to New York. I stayed behind with the dog and took advantage of the washing machine. Everything I owned smelled like Dreft by the time I was done, and that’s what this smells like. Not when my nose is against my arm, then it’s more lavender. But when the breeze picks up? Dreft. I love it.

Worth the wait.

When I say that I stalked this scent, I mean it. Fluffkin is a pretty little cloud of rice, rice flower, and marshmallow. It has a beautiful throw, and feels soothing. Like, yeah, the world is rough but here’s a little bubble of soft where you can lay down your head and rest for a moment.

Super realistic

It is exactly like walking down a path that is full of trees with a river running by during a rain drizzle. It is super realistic but also wearable, makes me feel like a water nymph in the woods. Longevity is not so long, about 2 hours, but every spritz is a wonderful experience.
