How to test your perfumes
Once you've got your paws on your new fragrances, we recommend testing a single fragrance at a time on clean skin.
The inside of the wrist is popular for testing, but wrists meet a lot of surfaces throughout the day and it can cause the fragrance to wear off faster. Personally, we recommend the back of the hand.
There are some key things about olfaction and fragrance aromachemicals that we think might be helpful:
- Olfactive exhaustion is real. Smelling different things side-by-side or back-to-back can make it difficult to smell the fragrances fully.
- Many popular fragrance materials have a large molecular size and can cause olfactive exhaustion.
- You can build a tolerance against olfactive exhaustion, just like with anything else. Over time, you may become more aware of different nuances within your fragrances.
- Certain fragrance materials "bloom" over time while others tend to mellow out. Just like on skin, fruit notes are particularly infamous for deciding that they don't want to come to the party anymore, while vanilla continues to get stronger over time.
Safety & Precautions
Use your fragrance in a well-ventilated area. Do not store near open flames, add this product to a wax warmer, or add this product to a candle.
If irritation occurs, stop using the product and rinse the area with cool, soapy water.
To increase the shelf life of your fragrance, we recommend storing it in a cool place out of the sunlight with minimal temperature fluctuations.

First off, I want to say thank you to Ashe for creating such expressive perfumes! The petrichor collection was a big hit for me. I love all of the ones I got, and I'm going to have a hard time deciding which ones I want to full size.
I got: Lost Epitaph, Perilla Garden, Sylph Hollow, Moonmallow Puff, Mermallow Puff, and I chose Sunshower Valley as my freebie. Ashe even included not one extra sample, but three! (The Seahorse, The Lighthouse, and Babygirl.)
Even though Ashe has been busy with personal issues and trying to work out all the kinks while keeping this business up and running, she's very accommodating! I reached out with concerns that my order might not arrive before I move, (a last minute decision) she was understanding and shipped it promptly! Just in time!

all my trinkets came packed in a small box with paper-based fluff to protect. thank you for using only easily degradable materials to help save our planet! ooh and also I couldn't resist smelling as soon as I got them; everything smelled great! they've been resting for a few days and I love what I've smelled so far!! The little trinkets are so cute, and the perfumes last so long! They’re very well blended and different than any fragrances I’ve tried before
For the trinket pack, I ordered Changeling, Strangeling, Strange Bedfellow, babygirl, and the monthly moth, Brimstone Moth. Ashe was kind enough to include three extra free samples due to a shipping issue: Crossroads of Lost and Lorn, After the Night's Shade, and Mossmallow Puff.
First off, I have to say, I love atmospherics and "weird" perfumes, but I have rarely experienced perfumes with the kind of depth Mythpunk Olfactive's work possesses. It is very easy to pick out the realistic, individual notes in each blend, but they still work together well to create a full picture. The "wet forest earth" type of smell in Mossmallow Puff and Crossroads of Lost & Lorn was particularly startling!
Of the options I got, I immediately fell in love with and full-sized Changeling and Crossroads (thank you for including the latter as a sample!). Changeling captures its name well, having a metamorphic quality: it starts very floral on me, then dries down to something deeper and warmer, always with that creamy orange note at its core. Meanwhile, Crossroads is probably the most "photorealistic" perfume I have ever smelled. You can close your eyes and see the smoke of a distant fire through a rainy forest. With both of these scents, I can apply them in the morning and still smell the bottom notes on my wrists as I'm getting ready for bed. Unbelievable. Will definitely be recommending to others.
This is my second trinket pack from Mythpunk Olfactive, and although not everything is to my own personal taste, they're all so expressive; each one has its own personality.
I chose Hushkin, Emerald Pearl Moth, Paper Moon, Changeling, and Black Witch Moth Puff, with Dusk Cherry Puff and Dozykin as my free samples. I stepped out of my comfort zone with some of these; I'm not usually a fan of anise (Black Witch Moth Puff) or coffee or cacao notes (Changeling.) Although Changeling ended up not working for me, Black Witch Moth Puff was a surprise favorite! I plan on getting a full sized bottle of it, and perhaps Dusk Cherry Puff too, this fall. Those two are autumn in a bottle! Paper Moon is another favorite, even though it doesn't really match my typical aesthetic.
