Patchouli is hit or miss for me, but this is beautiful. To me it’s a clean patchouli. I noticed this opens with a stronger hit of what I think is immortelle, which isn’t unbalanced but fades into an even more blended form. Then I primarily smell marshmallow, patchouli, and brown sugar in the foreground. I sprayed it on a clean, un-fragranced blanket 10 hours ago and while it’s not projecting very much anymore (a plus for me), it’s definitely still present!
It’s light and deep and sweet at the same time, without being heavy. I’d definitely wear this during any weather.
Mossmallow Puff is relaxation in a bottle, leading with the earthy/mossy notes and fading into a sweetness that lasts all day. Anytime I wear this I end up smelling my arms all day long. I upgraded to the bauble right away, I cannot recommend this scent enough <3
This smells exactly like an idealized version of a cowboy. A cowboy from fantasy-land. I originally ordered this as a trinket but I'm gonna have to full-size.
Opens with a cool, blue lavender, gentle but fresh, joined by ripe, yellow mango. The sweet, sunny fruit is balanced by bright green matcha, blending with the lavender for a refreshing, yet smooth feel.
Cool, creamy oat milk further softens the blend, its comforting nuttiness and rich vanilla bean perfectly compliment the lively opening for a relaxing yet cheerful blend.
This is the sort of scent that instantly puts you in a good mood, a wonderful comfort scent for warm weather.
I honestly didn't think I would like this one, I am a certified lavender hater and often find fruit overwhelming, but the mango is deliciously realistic, the sweetness is balanced, and the whisper of lavender adds a chilly, calming effect. It makes me think of a frozen drink on a hot day — smooth, refreshing and perfect for relaxing.
Opens with tart, green figs and the fresh, bright fragrance of the tree's dewy green leaves. It makes me think of the smell after a heavy summer storm when the sun comes out, deeply aromatic, releasing all of the peppery nuances of the damp leaves.
Winding honeysuckle vines bring a waxy, golden sweetness to the verdant scent, as wild jasmine's milly white florals soften the tart fig, slowly deepening with the help of nutty rice to create a lush, romantic aroma that is incredibly addictive.
Rich, opalescent musk winds its way through the garden, a sweet, shimmery silk that adds to the dewy realism of the scent, subtly shifting to highlight the best of the thriving greenery and the alluring blooms.
This is a surprise favorite for me, if you've been looking for a Garden of Eden scent or Mediterranean realism, this is perfection.
Opens with a splash of tangy bergamot over the briney musk of ambergris and chilly amber. Bright gardenia blooms, aromatic green notes merging seamlessly with the citrus, as plush white florals fill the air. The sweet scent of plumeria joins the bouquet, sheer peach over pale petals.
As the scent warms on my skin, the salty ambergris begins to take on a silky shine, as luminous musk surrounds the blend, creating a diaphanous blend of salt air and sweet island florals over a bed of smooth, pearly cream.
This isn't your typical white floral, so delicately blended and airy — a soft, dreamy scent, evoking the sea breeze on tropical evenings.
An opening of rich cardamom floats over silky orange blossoms, joining the balmy scent of sun-warmed seashells and toasty coconut. Rich cedarwood follows, coated with molten amber, drying to a sleek, glowing finish. Lush champaca blooms from the resinous woods, creamy white petals opening to reveal honeyed nectar with notes of golden hay and dark, juicy plums.
This is such an addictive scent, I really can't stop smelling it. It's beautifully complex, combining the warmth of resins and roasted seashells with wonderfully realistic white florals. And the drydown is equally flawless, silken swirls of floral cream and pink nectar over burnished gold.
This perfectly captures the languid, sensual feel of an island paradise, but the woodsy amber base and subtle spice makes this something I am just as likely to pull out year-round. I love scents that are both comforting and sexy at once, and this blend does both perfectly, even more beautiful than I had hoped!
Opens with bright, red pomegranate areils, tart and fresh. Chewy fig sweetens the sour juice, as boozy davana grounds the scent with the aroma of rich black tea leaves. Soft notes of blonde tobacco blend seamlessly with the davana, bringing out its earthy, golden warmth.
Jasmine slowly emerges, enveloping the blend with its soft, creamy florals, making way for the sunny, Island blooms of ylang ylang, a floral that can often be overwhelming, but this one is well-balanced and realistic — waxy petals with hints of sweet orange over white floral custard swirled with banana cream and sticky golden nectar with hints of warm spice and vanilla bean.
I really love how nuanced the florals are here, and while I'm not usually a pomegranate fan, it works wonderfully, adding a touch of brightness against the decadent white florals. A romantic, tropical floral with a deliciously smooth, creamy drydown that really shows off the ylang ylang and the bright, boozy tones of the davana. Despite how rich this is, it's really refreshing, a fantastic summer scent!
I am a huge floral fan, but I think this would be a great introduction for someone who usually goes for fruity scents or gourmands.
I have a fair amount of grass scents from other houses. The wet grass accord in this is the most realistic grass smell out of every house I’ve tried! It’s smells like you’re rolling in a field of grass after it’s rained or a freshly mowed lawn. The other notes round out the overall scent, but the grass note is definitely the most prominent! I pair my scents with a season and this is definitely a spring, even summer scent to me! I will definitely be upgrading to full-size next time!
I don’t know the magic behind this scent house, but this is so hyper realistic it’s amazing. You smell every single note and it dries down to be primarily the wet bathing suit/ the cherry lipgloss/ and the chlorinated pool. It reminds you of your childhood at the swimming pool! It’s nostalgic, atmospheric, and has a great longevity!
I am normally a gourmand person, but perilla garden has grabbed my by the lapel and demanded my attention. It is so fresh and the most "green" thing I have smelled, and something - I think the lapsang souchang- gives it a wonderful depth. Planning to get more for the hot and humid summer months in the Midwest.
Opens with smooth, seductive jasmine, the sort of rich, heady floral that brings out your inner femme fatale. A layer of rich, boozy honey deepens the white floral's decadent sensuality, its sticky, golden sweetness joining the rum's sheer spice draws out balsamic amber resins.
The chewy caramel and earthy spice of opoponax bring to the mind the softest, smoothest myrrh, warming and brightening the rum with the help of vetiver's toasted, dark woods, surrounding the lush jasmine with a sleek, balsamic glow.
The honeyed sweetness reveals a rich heart of creamy beeswax, softening the shining, golden resins while highlighting the jasmine's complexity, its waxy petals and buttery musk releasing an addictively alluring fragrance.
The jasmine is incredibly erotic, indolic in the best way — intoxicating and wild, contrasting with the sleek balsamic notes at first, but they soon melt together seamlessly as creamy beeswax wraps the seductive scent in its soft, comforting warmth. This isn't for fans of sweet, fruity jasmines, but if you like lush, indolic, jasmine this is absolute perfection. It makes me feel sexy and confident, and unlike many femme fatale scents, it doesn't feel like it's wearing me. And while I worried this might be too animalic for my partner, he couldn't get enough of it, I already have a FS, but I need more!
The smell of hot cinnamon sugar fills the air, deepened by nutty sesame seeds. The aroma of deep fried dough follows, balancing the fragrant spices with the help of dulce de leche's creamy caramel. This is an incredibly evocative scent that immediately brought to mind fall festivals and county fairs, bundled in the brisk autumn air as you watch freshly made churros being drizzled with dulce de leche and coated in crystalline cinnamon sugar.
A deliciously nostalgic gourmand that is light and airy despite the realism of the fried dough. The churros are photorealistic, and I do think this is my favorite out of the fall festival scents that I've tried, capturing the atmosphere without feeling cluttered or overwhelming. For me, I get happy memories of the Ren Faire.
This opens with the strong scent of black jellybeans, one I didn't expect to like, but it's surprisingly complex. The golden warmth of anise and it's distinctive sweet spice is present, but it's quite different here, combining with sugared patchouli for a dark, sweet scent that draws out notes of balsamic woods and a camphorous heat that is reminiscent of mixed peppercorns.
The fluffy marshmallow cream becomes chewy and dense when blended with the sweet spices and toasty patchouli for a very realistic jellybean texture. The marshmallow draws out the , lactonic notes of lisylang, deepening and rounding out the scent, while adding a smooth, creamy finish that softens the edges of the fragranr aromatics. Its subtle yet rich white floral notes blend beautifully with the anise, giving this gourmand a more elevated feel.
I think that the blend of cool creamy notes and warm spice makes this a surprisingly versatile scent, lovely for fall, but I'm curious to see how it performs in warm weather as well.
An opening of immortelle's delicate floral sweetness is followed by golden brown sugar crumbled over a toasty bed of patchouli. I usually avoid immortelle, but it's nothing like the sharp yellow florals I'm used to. The petals are plush and creamy, becoming almost buttery as they swirl with fluffy marshmallow. The patchoulis and brown sugar really bring the best out in this flower — comforting notes of sun-dried hay bales, chewy pipe tobacco, and smooth maplewood. Immortelle's honeyed notes blend beautifully with the brown sugar, amber honey with notes of sticky molasses, and rich vanilla beans, balanced by sheer florals.
This blend of patchoulis is so addictive, deep and warm with a comforting strength that never overpowers the other notes. The toasty gold and subtle spice of the lighter patchouli blends beautifully with the darker patchouli's notes of rich resinous woods and nutty tonka, blending smoothly with dark vanilla.
This is such a snuggly scent, it makes me feel happy and safe, immediately FSed.
