VERY realistic root beer - it almost tricks my nose into smelling some fizziness, but I don't think there actually is any. I've never smelled butter rum before so I have no idea if it's identifyable (I don't smell rum or butter aside from some creaminess). As it dries down, I get something kind of dully spicy in the way that oud gets sometimes. I have no idea what it might be, but it makes the perfume pretty cozy and complex!
This one has a really strong projection. It makes me feel almost a little sticky in the Californian summer so I wouldn't classify it as something 'fresh' but rather something more balsamic.
This is the most delicious sasparilla perfume ever! It is sweet, creamy, spicy, woody and deep. There are spices and a woodiness that make it much more complex and wearable than a simple Gourmand perfume. It is so beautifully blended; the sandelwood just melts into the sweet root beer. I used my sample up so quickly! I found myself craving this perfume when I wanted to smell something refreshing and comforting. One of my favorites from Mythpunk.
Wow, this root beer note is so realistic, a very delicious and expensive root beer. The distinctive spices are there, zesty and sweet but with a nuanced feel. Under the airy top notes, there's a warmth and depth to the spices provided by the soft, musky sandalwood.
The creamy notes are fairly slow to emerge and quite sheer when they do arrive, but I do get a hint of smooth vanilla. I like this, but if it had more of the butter rum ice cream, it would be perfect for me.
On fabric: This is 100% rootbeer! Yum! I first thought it smelt like Frostop rootbeer but then I started craving Whataburger, who sells Barq's. On skin: Late dry down a creamy vanilla becomes more noticeable, it's still paired up with rootbeer. I gotta stop myself from over spraying. This stuff smells delicious!
To me this is photo realistic root beer!! I get straight-up root beer with some slight creaminess in the background that I think is the ice cream and the marshmallow. I don't get too much of the rum, sandalwood, or musks, but that could also just be me having trouble picking out the subtler notes in this. Regardless, it brings me immense joy to have a root beer scent as realistic as this, it's very fun :)
