I hope this is a Halloween/Autumn regular! The patchouli is smooth and adds depth and spice, the marshmallow/brown sugar delectable, and the other notes beautifully support the overall cozy marshmallow warmth.
Update after using this regularly for almost 4 months: It seems more brown-sugar dominant with everything else in the background. Considering I noticed this happening with Autumnkin and the coffee note, it seems to be a trend that I would attribute either to my nose, the season, or the perfume aging. I still love it and use it as a sleep scent, but the brown sugar can be a bit too much and too sweet sometimes. I will continue using it and see if that changes again! I haven't switched my usual unscented laundry soaps, or gotten new sheets or blankets so I'm genuinely curious. I DID move to a new house when I noticed both these scents seeming different, but none of my other fragrances from any house smell different since then. Fascinating, honestly.)
Patchouli is hit or miss for me, but this is beautiful. To me it’s a clean patchouli. I noticed this opens with a stronger hit of what I think is immortelle, which isn’t unbalanced but fades into an even more blended form. Then I primarily smell marshmallow, patchouli, and brown sugar in the foreground. I sprayed it on a clean, un-fragranced blanket 10 hours ago and while it’s not projecting very much anymore (a plus for me), it’s definitely still present!
It’s light and deep and sweet at the same time, without being heavy. I’d definitely wear this during any weather.
An opening of immortelle's delicate floral sweetness is followed by golden brown sugar crumbled over a toasty bed of patchouli. I usually avoid immortelle, but it's nothing like the sharp yellow florals I'm used to. The petals are plush and creamy, becoming almost buttery as they swirl with fluffy marshmallow. The patchoulis and brown sugar really bring the best out in this flower — comforting notes of sun-dried hay bales, chewy pipe tobacco, and smooth maplewood. Immortelle's honeyed notes blend beautifully with the brown sugar, amber honey with notes of sticky molasses, and rich vanilla beans, balanced by sheer florals.
This blend of patchoulis is so addictive, deep and warm with a comforting strength that never overpowers the other notes. The toasty gold and subtle spice of the lighter patchouli blends beautifully with the darker patchouli's notes of rich resinous woods and nutty tonka, blending smoothly with dark vanilla.
This is such a snuggly scent, it makes me feel happy and safe, immediately FSed.
To me, this smells like a stripped-down cousin of Mugler's Angel: a similar patchouli backed with a lovely sweet and cozy marshmallow, but with none of the peripheral sense of rot that I get from Angel. If you want a patchouli-bomb that's comfortingly familiar, this'll hit the spot.
The patchouli has a touch of the medicinal about it; my partner likened it to Neosporin ("in a nice way!") which I didn't appreciate but could see haha.

I love their scents. BUT Mythpunk Olfactive has not fulfilled orders in months, and not responded to any emails (email account has been recently deleted). Social media accounts have been deleted, but the website is still up and running? At this point it's a scam, do yourself a favor and don't get burned.

i apologize for the frustrating experience you've had with my store. i'm really sorry to hear that i've broken your trust and loyalty. i certainly understand where you're coming from - you left this review during a period when i was absent due to some medical instability caused by losing access to my psychiatric team very suddenly. all orders that experienced delays during this period have been shipped or refunded.
i have schizoaffective disorder that is treatment resistant, and when i'm unstable or trialing new medications, things go downhill for me very quickly, and i dropped the ball on every aspect of my life. i'm currently in a good place thanks to a new psychiatric team (genuinely, i feel better than i have in over a decade), and i'm trying to rebuild trust slowly by showing up every day.
i understand that i can't regain everyone's trust back, but i hope to prove myself over time. currently, my business is fully operational and i'm shipping within my stated TAT, and i'm confident in my ability to maintain this.
i'd like to address a couple of other points you brought up: my email address was never deleted, but i remember learning about some DNS issues that had caused bouncebacks to customers that i think happened around this time. the only social media i had at the time of your review was reddit, and my comments had been hidden in i believe early 2025, prior to the absence you're noting. i can understand why these things felt important enough to note in your review, but they were coincidences.
when i was initially getting back on my feet, i decided to archive your review because it wasn't specifically a product review, but i've determined that it's best for transparency's sake to reinstate it and respond to it directly.
