WTF in the best way

I don’t even like fruit scents?? what is happening here? It’s so well-blended,

i’m walking around a night market in a fey city and a vendor nearby is selling jam. I wouldn’t call it a rain scent, but somehow i’m sure it rained much earlier that day, bringing out the clay walkway scent. which smells earthy but not like dirt. Some mineralic scents from other houses have struck me as piercing or funky, this is not. maybe like clean, wet, warm terracotta pots. But still blended so beautifully I’d never go “this smells like plant pots.”

i can’t smell leather, smoke, or glowing coals specifically, they’re supporting. this really smells like warm midnight air in a place that’s mostly familiar but just different enough to keep you on your toes (the perfume doesn’t make me edgy, just a vibe i get considering the environment it seems to resonate with).

i immediately full sized this despite my pledge to finish samples first. >:0 :D

faeriecore grunge dream

When I smell this, I envision dream fruits glowing deep orange like embers in the nighttime. The combination of fruit accords creates a deep, sweet, almost chewy fantasy fruit with just a touch of something wet and green. This is woven with a sort of hot, brick oven scent, bound with a drop of ambery, floral glue. I wore this on a hot, sticky day when the air was like soup, and it was actually lovely even though it seems like it would be more of a cool weather scent. Other reviews call it tropical, but it doesn't come across that way to me. It's like fantasy forest x industrial but more wearable than that sounds.

Fresh, ripe fruits from an island market

Opens with jammy, golden apricot, balanced with a splash of crisp, tart citrus, while the aroma of ripe figs adds a touch of rich, pink sweetness to the juicy blend. A handful of bright yellow petals are scattered, infusing the scent with smooth floral notes, very gentle. The whisper of smoke draws attention to the warm base, dissipating quickly to reveal ruddy earth with hints of toasty, golden patchouli and the barest touch of soft, brown suede.

This is primarily a sweet, fruity scent with a tropical vibe. The other notes are extremely subtle on my skin and difficult to discern unless I get quite close. They do add depth though and make the scent a bit more unique. This reminds me of a street market on a small yet vibrant island — cheerful and sunny and brimming with ripe, juicy fruits. The fruit notes are realistic but too prominent for my taste, I would personally prefer more focus on the florals — that will be the case for the reformulation though, and I'm very much looking forward to it!

[I will edit my review once I've tried the new formula :)]

Golden fruit with an atmospheric touch

The fruits are definitely the strongest note here, with the more atmospheric-sounding notes backing it instead of being at the forefront. The fruits themselves are very... well, golden, and rich. I have a hard time describing them, but they make me envision a fruit that's perfectly ripe and juicy when you bite into it. They're backed by smoke and leather which add depth to the scent. I wish it was stronger on the atmospherics, but it's still definitely a lovely fruit scent.

Golden, not citrusy

This is a stellar amber blend and the most "golden" scent I've experienced in recent memory. The fruits are rich and ripe, sweet without being cloying, perfectly in balance with the amber and the floral side of the perfume. Apricot jumps out at me the most. Almost tropical in a way I didn't expect and I'm surprised I love it so much because I'm hard to please on that front. I think the leather is maybe at the center of it all and steadies the other elements of the perfume and the forge is the absolute lightest suggestion of smoke. Truthfully have no idea where the clay is, but I'm having a great time trying to identify which note is which.
