This was a love at first sniff. Tropical? Check. Something reminiscent of laundry? Check.A warm fragrance? Oh yeah. I have nothing in my collection like this scent and it is truly unique. Oh…lastibility? At least 12+ hours on my skin. Holy moly that is impressive
The opening is plantains, starchy rather than overly sweet. Brown sugar follows, straight out of the bag: molasses-like and caramelized. There is a dirt-like element here, though not traditional soil, along with something that reminds me of dark, dehydrated plum, but never quite reaches prune. This entire opening brings to mind a saturated golden orange,(HEX #FF9A00).
The heart shifts into maple candy mixed with that brown sugar. The dirt element changes too, becoming wet sand, a deeper muted tan, (HEX #BF9470).
Toward the base, there is something waxy and barely vegetal, like a palm or banana leaf surrounded by lighter tan sand,(HEX #EDD6AD). A little tropical fruit remains, almost like the banana has moved from the flesh to the peel. Then something warmer begins to appear. Our friend Fluffkin lurks underneath, settling into that familiar toasted rice blend before fading into powder with just a vague trace of floral.I enjoyed watching the shades shift. This would be a fun choice for someone more adventurous.

Tried it right out of the mail so it may still settle some but very positive first impression. Most indies brands have been disappointingly quick to vanish on me but this has very good longevity and moderate throw.
The banana is definitely on the subtle end. It's steadily there and lovely but I wouldn't necessarily be able to pinpoint the note as banana if I didn't already know it was there. The amber and brown sugar comes through strongest lending it a very warm and cozy vibe yet the other notes give it enough sparkle and lightness to still be summery. I could see grabbing a full size next year.
