This is excellent. The blood orange and tuberose combo is giving me mad college-student, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed vibes — ready to burst into the adult world with all my positivity, big ideas, and a craving to make change. But that quarter sweater my grandma knitted me in high school, woven from aged patchouli and vetiver, is still draped over my shoulders like super womans cape that has unknowingly comforted me from then until now. As I move through the day, subtle whiffs of smoke, coffee grounds at the bottom of a quickly demolished cup, and the anchoring warmth of the vetiver make this an easy daily wear.
thank you so much for this review! in my formula notes, i named the first changeling prototype 'study date' because it gave me the same vibe. i had this vision of someone studying in an amber-lit coffee shop next to a good friend, feeling like they'd finally found their place (and their people) in the world. i'm so beyond happy that you picked up on something similar.

i apologize for the frustrating experience you've had with my store. i'm really sorry to hear that i've broken your trust and loyalty. i certainly understand where you're coming from - you left this review during a period when i was absent due to some medical instability caused by losing access to my psychiatric team very suddenly. all orders that experienced delays during this period have been shipped or refunded.
i have schizoaffective disorder that is treatment resistant, and when i'm unstable or trialing new medications, things go downhill for me very quickly, and i dropped the ball on every aspect of my life. i'm currently in a good place thanks to a new psychiatric team (genuinely, i feel better than i have in over a decade), and i'm trying to rebuild trust slowly by showing up every day.
i understand that i can't regain everyone's trust back, but i hope to prove myself over time. currently, my business is fully operational and i'm shipping within my stated TAT, and i'm confident in my ability to maintain this.
i'd like to address the point you brought up about the email: my email address was never deleted, but i remember learning about some DNS issues that had caused bouncebacks to customers that i think happened around this time. iirc, my google workspace account had lapsed, so the email went down. i was not in a place where i realized that this was happening, but i was able to take care of it when i returned, which is when i learned that it had happened. while i can understand that it may have seemed deliberate, it was another symptom of my terrible mental health and inability to keep track of different aspects of my life rather than an attempt to prevent people from contacting me.
when i was initially getting back on my feet, i decided to archive your review because it wasn't specifically a product review, but i've determined that it's best for transparency's sake to reinstate it and respond to it directly.

The strongest (or at least the longest lasting) of all the Mythpunks I've tried! This is so so gorgeous, and I wish I could give it more than five stars. It's a smoky, deep, resinous haze. Slightly sweet in a nutty/earthy/amber way, slightly juicy from the orange, grounded but mysterious. Coffee always goes slightly powdery on my skin, but here the slight poweryness contributes to the hazy atmosphere created. It feels like a warm blanket in a morally ambiguous witch's lair; intense and exotic but comforting at the same time. This perfume is more than the sum of its parts.
this perfume is so beautiful, and i haven’t smelled anything like it. the opening is almost a little boozy and nutty, but i can smell the orange, coffee, and cacao. the dry down is a warm, ambery, slightly spiced creamy white floral. it gives me autumn vibes but could probably work in any season. it’s complex and **** in a very unique way
i love orange scents, but indie citrus tends to turn very bathroom cleaner on me. this one did not, it’s a sexy smoky orange all the way through. i didn’t get any floral on my skin, just orange and smoke. it lasted 4ish hours which is average performance for a citrus in my experience. will be full sizing when the weather gets cooler, it’s a lil too smoky for a deep south summer:-)
